Mitchell Farm is an Equine Retirement facility established for the care of aged and/or infirm horses and is a fully recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.Retirement farms fill a critical need by providing safe, permanent homes to elder horses that might no longer be in good enough condition to use for pleasure or sport. Many of these horses are kept from going to auction or possible slaughter. Please visit our website by clicking on the link below to learn more about this critical need that Mitchell Farm and other retirement farms are filling.

And please consider making a contribution to support our efforts and our wonderful retirees. All donations go to support the horses. Volunteer opportunities are also available and visitors are welcome. Contact us to learn how to become a volunteer at Mitchell Farm - it’s so very rewarding to get up-close-and-personal with these wonderful animals.
